PVC INTERLOCKING TILES OR LIP-WELD TILES

PVC Workshop flooring is available in two different versions: interlocking tiles and lip-weld tiles.
Both tiles meet the strictest requirements for workshop floors and are oil resistant and, if necessary, impermeable.

Which is the best option for you: interlocking tiles or lip-weld tiles?

1. Interlocking tiles

PVC interlocking tiles are the easiest method for workshop flooring. The tiles have the same characteristics as lip-weld tiles with the main difference that they can be installed by the company’s own staff, enabling you to make significant savings on the installation.
These tiles can mostly be installed without the use of adhesive, resulting in waterproof floors.
Whether to use adhesive or not depends on factors such as significant temperature differences (direct sunlight) and the intensity of the load. We will be happy to advise you.
The flooring can be made impermeable by applying a special welding-liquid in the joint.
The flooring is easy to install, as we will supply you with all the necessary instructions and videos.
If you do come across any issues, we will be happy to advise you.

2. Lip-Weld tiles

For all locations where 100% impermeability must be guaranteed to comply with the regulations and hygiene rules, such as in washing stations or storages for chemicals and hazardous substances.
Lip-weld PVC tiles are always glued to the subfloor using a waterproof 2K-PU adhesive.
During installation the tiles are connected using a cold weld liquid in the lips and thermal welding of the seams with a PVC welding rod to make them impermeable.
It is best to have these types of floor installed by professional floor layers.
We are happy to advise you on how to make the right choice!
